I’m a PhD Candidate in Linguistics at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, with a variety of theoretical and applied research interests. I came to Linguistics after spending many rewarding years as an elementary and middle school teacher. For the last few years, I have also been teaching in the Linguistics and Communication Disorders Department at Queens College and in the School of Education at The City College of New York. I will defend my dissertation in Spring 2017, and my goal is to continue to develop my passions both in Linguistics and in Education as a professor.
